The following are some of the ESI Employee Assistance Group staff that will be regularly contributing to the HR Web café blog
James
M. Walter is President and CEO of the ESI Employee Assistance
Group. ESI provides a wide range of employee and employer assistance
services to over 750,000 Members in the US and Canada. Prior to
assuming his current position, he was CEO of ManagedComp Inc. a
health services administrator with annual revenues of over $200,000,000.
He has taught at several universities including Northeastern University
in Boston. He is also past president of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts.
Bill
Bowler is Senior Vice President of Client Services, ESI
Employee Assistance Group. Bill is in his 21st year with the company.
He holds a M.A. from Bucknell University and is a graduate of the
School of Industrial Relations, University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
He is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and is
a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Bill Danylik is the Executive Vice President of ESI Employee
Assistance Group. Bill has more than 25 years experience in employee
benefits, spanning health insurance, workers compensation, managed
care, and employee assistance programs. Prior to joining ESI, he
was Senior Vice President of Marketing at ManagedComp, a managed
care workers compensation organization which Bill helped to develop
and grow to national scope. In addition to marketing, Bill has also
been deeply involved in establishing client service and delivery
programs and quality standards.
Tami
Hodges is Vice President, Regional Director of ESI Employee
Assistance Group. Tami is President of Public Safety EAP, a division
of ESI that specializes in programs designed to meet the unique
challenges of first responder personnel and their families. She
has been in the employee assistance field since 1993 and is a Certified
Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). Her experience encompasses
25 years, and a specialty in the intervention of impaired employees.
She has developed training modules that encourage supervisors and
employees to effectively utilize employee assistance programs. Tami
is a graduate of Albertus Magnus College.
